Wow! That is all I have to say.
The weather is great, not hot and humid but warm.
Gardening everyday and losing weight.
Visiting with friends and family.
Looking for work and enjoying the time.
Our cats are loving being able to be outdoors, my son loves playing with worms, snakes, frogs and seeing the beautiful mountains and scenery.
He has been gardening with me and having a lot of fun. Watering the tomato plants and raspberries, and planting onions.
The days are long with it getting dark nine at night. Great for gardening.
Just have to find a job now and get all the paperwork done for my wife and son. I will be updating the site more as I free up some internet time. Some garden pictures too.
Thanks for stopping by, and remember http://giftsfordadonline.com has all your online shopping needs.

Well life just keeps getting busier,
Getting closer at getting rid of stuff and getting paperwork done. Thought I had found a new teacher, but she has decided to pull out at the last minute. Not great, and nearly impossible to find a replacement teacher in two weeks. I had a bit of trouble also due to my bosses not being there to interview as well. I have no control over salary, or the final say, so it is kind of important that they are also there to meet and talk about the money side of things.
Yesterday we headed to Chiba to visit my wife’s family. It took us seven hours on the highway. The traffic was so heavy that we decided to take a nap for an hour and let it die down. Well, let me tell you when we awoke at two am it was still bumper to bumper.
Getting into Tokyo was very exciting for the view of the city is very impressive. Some lights were out along the highway due to saving power since the earthquake. We also noticed a few signs that warned of uneven roads due to the earthquake. A little worriesome, but we didn’t notice any real big bumps. Maybe scary if you were on a motobike and hit one of those places.
Got to our final destination around four in the morning and had an Asahi to try and relax. Ended up having a few more and it seemed to do the trick. Spending time with the family before we make our big move back. Looking forward to less traffic and the relaxation of Canada. Japan is just too busy for this Canadian boy.

Into my eighth year teaching in Japan, I have seen a lot. Worked at many schools and have had many bosses. In regards to the owners I have to say that some of them are quite cutthroat. They have what is called a split personality. First they appear friendly and nice, then when you do something wrong, but maybe it is just a disagreement they stab you in the back. The more I talk to other teachers, I keep hearing this more and more. Teachers working hard for them, but then when business slows, or things don’t work in their favour they are quick to blame or take credit if a good idea arises. Now I am faced with having money held back due to leaving early on my contract. Getting penalized for giving two months notice is pretty good, considering Japanese labour laws say only one month. It isn’t easy getting qualified teachers, especially when some schools are offering less than the labour laws standard of 250 000 yen. It shocks me to see these schools being run by business men that have no idea what education is.
They don’t care about the education, child or teacher’s well being. They just want to make money. The crazy thing, is that parents keep sending their kids to these schools, and don’t step to the plate and raise questions. The alarm bells would be ringing in Canada or the States if you were paying ten to fifteen thousand dollars a year for the kind of education these kids are getting.
Oh well, enough for me, I have to try and find two new teachers and get everything packed up so I can get out of Japan. Too much stress and worry for me.
Want to get back to Canada and enjoy the outdoors and freedom.
Remember please help my cause by checking out my site http://giftsfordadonline.com and do some shopping there.
Thanks and good night.

Well as exciting as things get of late, it is hard to belive after facing huge costs just to get rid or decent stuff, I am now faced with my company penalizing me for leaving before my contract expires.
That`s right,
Lèts penalize teachers for leaving due to the current situation.
How much you may ask, well let`s just say about 2500 Canadian.
Should I show up for work tomorrow is the question. It is a brutal situation taking advantage of the lowly teachers.
If it wasnt for the Canucks taking a 3-0 lead, I would. But the Canucks have never looked better. Remember http:giftsfordadonline.com has all your online shopping needs. Also gifts for mom at http:babylouieandthelouiechronicles.com has all your need for the ladies too.

Well, things just keep getting harder here in Japan. Trying to get rid of all my stuff, trying to find a new teacher, and trying to just survive the daily drama. Man oh man. I hope I can get it all done in the next few weeks. Took in a whole bunch of baby toys, crib, travel crib, car seat, and other odds and ends. Hoping to get some decent money. Nope!
27 dollars was all.
I was shocked.
Then I had the recycle shop come and look at our stuff. Dinner set, fridge, washing machine, tv, computer and tv stand, and other tables and stuff. Well, let me tell you.
I wasn’t happy with the results.
650 bucks just to take it away. For me to pay.
Can you believe it? Wow! Even with all these people up North with nothing these shops are charging this much.
They will take it to their shop, clean it up as much as they can and resell it at a huge up cost. Crooks if you ask me.
Anyhow, once again,
I ask everyone to browse around my online shop at http://giftsfordadonline.com and do some shopping.
Thanks again and see you all in Canada soon.
Sincerely,
Andrew Clarke

Well, this blogging thing is kind of fun, but does take time. Still looking for more great products for my site http://giftsfordadonline.com. The site is getting more hits, but I need to get more and more, so I am not trying to join other blogs to tell people about the site. Still only two sales to date and one was mine, so the idea has not taken off yet. Hoping more people get into the buying online, but will have just have to keep working on the site and get the story out there. Remember when you click on a link, you will be taken to that company store. Then if you buy, I as an affiliate partner make a profit. Sometimes as little as one percent, but others can offer up to twenty so it can be good. Mother’s day is coming so I am placing many great sites to buy gifts for mom. Please have a look.
I will update more as I get closer to getting all my stuff packed up and thrown out in Japan. Booking my flight back to Canada this week. Who would have thought after eight years, we will make the move back permantly to Canada.

Maybe they are maybe they aren’t. All I know is that the past two games were pretty brutal, considering the Oilers are one of the worst team in the league. Anyhow, on the gifts for dad online.com site, Mother’s day is coming and the new links page with lots of great gift ideas. http://giftsfordadonline.com Have a look for yourself and see for yourself. Click on the link. Remember comments are welcome. What else do you want to see. Maybe a new company, or a gift idea. I have also started a new site called gifts for mom. http://babylouieandthelouiechronicles.com Have a click to check out that site too. It’s new so it is just in it’s early stages.

Looks like Spring is here. Snowbirds flying in the sky, and the beautiful mountains are covered in snow. Wow! How beautiful the Comox Valley is.
Job hunting is going well, but nothing for sure yet. Still trying to get my site up and running and get more traffic to it. Looking at moving back now sooner than later due to the uncertainty in Japan. Hope everyone has a great day and remember to click on those links and have a look around the site and send me a comment if you want anything added.
Canucks game against the Oilers should be good. Tanner Glass is back in and Cory Scheneider back between the pipes. Tanev is out and Yaunn Sauve is back. Edler and Alberts getting closer, but I imagine they will rest them until the playoffs. Go nucks

Well, this blogging thing is kind of fun, but not sure how long I can keep it up daily.
I guess it doesn’t really matter, but here goes my third post. I see my last one has no video anymore. Not sure if that is just my computer. Well, the Canucks play again tonight and right now on Canucks.com you can watch the live morning skate. Should be a good game against L.A. An update on Manny Malhotra is he had successful eye surgery. His second one in a short time. Not sure if this means he will be back with the club one day or not. As for Hamius, I heard he is feeling better, but will have to wait and hear more on that. I did see, that Crosby has been cleared to practice and is flying with the team. Good for his fans and hockey pool gurus as well. Japan had another good size earthquake (6.2) yesterday and fuel shortages are ongoing in the North. I heard that Disneyland is still closed due to that area being very damaged. If you don’t know much about that area, it is all on reclaimed land, similiar to areas in the lower mainland. Sounds like water leaking up through the ground and damaged infrustructure is a common occurence in the surrounding area. I will find out more on this and keep you all posted. Anyhow, hope all is well with everyone and remember giftsfordadonline.com has all your online shopping needs.

Hi again,
Here is my second try at blogging. I am going to try and add some humor to the site as time goes on. Here is a good one to watch. Have a look at this and don’t try this at home.
It’s nearly springtime in Saskatchewan
Like I said, NEARLY!
